Approved Fire Protection Acquires ESCC, Expands into Security Services and New Markets

South Plainfield, NJ – October 6, 2025 – Approved Fire Protection Company, a trusted leader in life safety solutions since 1930, today announced the acquisition of Electronic Security and Communications Corp (ESCC), a respected provider of integrated security and communications technology serving New York City and the surrounding areas for over 40 years.

As part of the acquisition, ESCC will be rebranded as Approved Fire Protection & Security. The combined company will continue Approved Fire’s mission of securing the family legacy of companies in the safety and fire protection industry while broadening its offerings to include advanced security and communications solutions.
